Quick Beef Gyros

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 6 pita breads
  • 1 cup tzatziki sauce
  • 1/2 cup chopped tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup chopped red onion

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, brown ground beef over medium heat. Drain off any excess grease.
  2. Stir in oregano, basil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Cook for 5 minutes, or until heated through.
