🥣 Ingredients
1 can (15 oz) chickpeas, drained and rinsed
1/4 cup fresh lemon juice (about 1 large lemon)
1/4 cup tahini
1 small garlic clove, minced
2 tablespoons olive oil
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
Salt to taste
2–3 tablespoons cold water
Optional: Paprika or extra olive oil for garnish

In a food processor, blend tahini and lemon juice for 1 minute until creamy.
Add garlic, olive oil, cumin, and salt. Blend again until smooth.
Add chickpeas and blend, scraping down sides as needed.
Add cold water a little at a time for desired texture.
Taste and adjust salt or lemon juice.
Serve in a bowl, drizzle with olive oil, and sprinkle paprika if desired.
