Speedy Sausage & Veggie Stir-Fry
Hey there, busy bees and future chefs! 👋 Craving a delicious, home-cooked meal but short on time? This Speedy Sausage & Veggie Stir-Fry is your answer! It’s super easy, uses minimal ingredients, and cooks up in a flash – especially if you’ve got an air fryer. Let’s get cooking!
Ingredients:
- 1 package (12-14 oz) pre-cooked sausage, sliced
- 1 bag (12-16 oz) frozen stir-fry veggies
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- Optional: red pepper flakes for a kick!
Equipment:
- Air fryer (or large skillet)
- Mixing bowl
- Spatula
Instructions:
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C). If using a skillet, heat over medium-high heat.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the sliced sausage, frozen veggies, soy sauce, sesame oil, and garlic powder. Mix well.
- If using an air fryer, spread the mixture in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 10-12 minutes, shaking halfway through, until the sausage is heated through and the veggies are tender.
- If using a skillet, add the mixture to the skillet and stir-fry for 8-10 minutes, until the sausage is heated through and the veggies are tender.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
Tips/Variations:
- Spice it up: Add a pinch of red pepper flakes or a dash of sriracha for extra heat.
- Swap the veggies: Use any frozen or fresh veggies you like! Broccoli, carrots, bell peppers, and snap peas all work great.
- Add a sauce: Experiment with different stir-fry sauces like teriyaki, hoisin, or sweet chili sauce.
- Don’t overcrowd: If using an air fryer, cook in batches to ensure even cooking.
